COPD flare-ups can kill you. People who have more flare-ups or more severe flare-ups are more likely to have a poor quality of life (meaning you can’t do what you would like to do) and you are more likely to die sooner from the disease. Treating a flare-up early or preventing them all together is the best way to live a long and happy life.
